Our Essex County Correctional Facility continues to be one of the most state-of-the-art facilities in the state and we are proud of our continuing record of receiving accreditation from the American Correctional Association and the State of New Jersey every year since 2013. Our correctional officers and staff are committed to following the highest professional standards to create a safe and secure environment and offer an array of supportive services and programs to help inmates overcome obstacles and prepare to successfully re-enter the community.
